Topographic Raster Maps

A raster map consists of a matrix of pixels organized into a grid, where each pixel contains a value representing spatial information.

Topographic Vector Maps

A vector map is basically a database of points, lines and polygons which collectively composite all the spatial features on the map.

Digital Elevation Models

A digital elevation model (DEM) is a three-dimensional representation of a terrain's surface created from terrain elevation data.

Orthoimages

An orthoimage is a uniform-scale image where corrections have been made for feature displacement, and it has the same lack of distortion as a map.
